What it is
The pre-workout category has spent a decade competing on how unwell it can make you feel, and the caffeine numbers have gone up accordingly. We stopped at 150 milligrams, which is enough to sharpen a session and low enough to take at five in the afternoon without paying for it at midnight. The rest of the formula is the part that actually does the work: a full six grams of citrulline, a clinical dose of beta-alanine, and enough sodium to matter. You will feel the tingle from the beta-alanine. That is normal and harmless.
The short version
- 150 mg caffeine — about a strong espresso, not three
- 6,000 mg L-citrulline and 3,200 mg beta-alanine, both at researched doses
- 300 mg sodium, because a pre-workout should not dehydrate you
- No proprietary blend. Every ingredient is listed with its dose
- No yohimbine, no DMHA, no 'energy blend'
How to use
One scoop in 12–16 oz of water, 20–30 minutes before training. Start with half a scoop the first time.
Ingredients
L-citrulline, beta-alanine, L-tyrosine, sodium citrate, caffeine anhydrous, L-theanine, citric acid, natural lemon and lime peel oil, monk fruit extract.
